Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with 3-way matching protocols
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Manage tax preparation and compliance filings
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial audits
