Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and cash reconciliation.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation, coordinating with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives by providing insightful financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate status is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
