Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial statements to executive stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and support external examinations with third-party auditors
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize departmental workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights
- Experience in cross-functional finance projects in regulated industries
