Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconciliation: Perform detailed bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and management to provide insights and financial analysis for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software.
- Certifications: CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
