Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 clients including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with tax professionals to optimize client tax strategies
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and NetSuite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel with VBA
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client-facing interactions
- Proven experience managing financial audits and compliance reviews
