Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and efficient payment cycles.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to ensure full compliance and transparency.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting to support the company's strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficient in QuickBooks or other major ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity.
