Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for institutional clients
- Manage SOX compliance audits and internal control documentation
- Lead month-end closing processes with journal entry review and reconciliation
- Develop financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with tax teams on multi-state compliance strategies
- Maintain GAAP compliance in complex transactional environments
- Mentor junior accounting staff on technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and VBA
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing multi-state tax compliance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
