We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team in a Direct Hire capacity. This role offers the unique advantage of working a Night Shift (00:00 - 08:00) with the flexibility of Remote Work from Oklahoma City or anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume accounts payable and receivable processing, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing adjusting entries and variance analysis.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or exceptions immediately.
- Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure accurate financial data integrity within our accounting software.
- Prepare and generate standard financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing organized documentation and data access.
- Manage credit card reconciliations and review expense reports for compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with night shift or remote work experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work the designated night shift hours (00:00 - 08:00).
