We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our night shift team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the month-end close process. Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process and verify accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance reports.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and secure financial documentation and audit trails.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and implement internal controls.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial data to identify variances and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Must be available and willing to work the night shift schedule.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
