Job Description
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Houston, Texas. This is a night shift position that offers a competitive salary and a stable work environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accuracy of our financial reporting, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will work independently during the evening hours to support the company's month-end and year-end close processes.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and credit card audits.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audit schedules.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure all financial data is accurate and documented according to internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts and meet tight deadlines.
