Responsibilities
- Closing monthly and annual financial statements with 100% accuracy.
- Performing bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes for the night shift cycle.
- Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Reconciling credit card statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborating with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or completion of CPA exam requirements preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
