Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes during the night shift to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform monthly and quarterly close procedures with a focus on accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and cash flow projections, for executive review.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and assist in the year-end audit process.
- Maintain and update accounting software systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding financial inquiries and reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or remote environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and federal tax regulations.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
