As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial health, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all reporting cycles. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a structured environment and delivers excellence under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and intercompany account eliminations with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Support the finance leadership team with special projects, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives.
- Maintain strict adherence to GAAP and internal control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with night shift or remote accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.
