Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a night shift setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
