Responsibilities
- Perform high-level financial reporting and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes independently during the night shift.
- Review and approve journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct internal audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and mitigate risk.
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership review.
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy during night shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
