Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Prepare complex journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to senior management.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Excellent understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
