Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all departments.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review.
- Assist in the preparation of complex tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop accurate budgets and long-term forecasts.
- Oversee and streamline accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Lead special projects related to process improvement and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and advanced accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
