Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing variances and providing actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
