Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Manage inter-company reconciliations and fixed asset capitalization.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management regarding financial performance.
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting policies and software usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
