Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring total accuracy and strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Support the external audit process and assist with year-end tax filings.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
