Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and financial reporting cycles.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and assist with year-end audits.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing detailed financial analysis and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
