Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Account Reconciliation: Manage general ledger activities, perform complex reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting process and support the monthly forecasting models to drive business decision-making.
- Internal Controls: Develop, document, and monitor internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement efficient accounting workflows using modern software solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support operational goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of tax regulations, auditing standards, and financial reporting frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Work Style: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
