Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and submit regulatory compliance documents (SEC filings, tax returns)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX requirements
- Lead process optimization initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
