Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
