Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to senior management.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Prepare and file necessary federal, state, and local tax returns; coordinate with external auditors for annual reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for external audits and regulatory inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
