Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Lead financial audits and collaborate with internal/external auditors
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes using ERP systems
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure team compliance with financial policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
