- Manage daily financial operations and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, from journal entries to closing the books.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting software and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
