Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Lead accounts reconciliation and bank statement reviews
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial projects and process improvements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial data
