Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidacy is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial auditing principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
