Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare complex financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage cash flow by monitoring invoices and processing payments efficiently.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to GAAP accounting standards and internal control policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and software usage.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to detect discrepancies and manage large volumes of data.
