Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed correctly.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Perform internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
