Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and account coding.
- Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll functions, ensuring tax withholdings and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, including document collection and analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables) is essential.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
