Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and inter-company accounts.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing variances and providing actionable insights.
- Conduct internal audits and support external auditors during the annual review process.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Utilize financial software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) to streamline reporting and data entry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
