Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger functions, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with management to forecast budgets and improve profitability.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and financial regulations (FASB/IFRS).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
