Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Perform variance analysis and budget forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the external audit team and provide necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
