Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 client portfolios including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with tax specialists on quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel
- Present financial insights to clients through customized reporting dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, IRS regulations, and California tax laws
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing presentations
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
