As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee key financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Identify process improvements and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
