- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Analyze variance reports and recommend strategic cost optimization measures
- Lead audits and implement internal control improvements
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax filings
