Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for corporate clients
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for small to mid-sized businesses
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for client portfolios
- Mentor junior staff on accounting best practices and software proficiency
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for executive clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firm
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
- Active Missouri CPA license required
