Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget planning.
- Review and approve expense reports and vendor invoices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
