Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements for cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor departmental budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
