Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement internal controls
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing projects
