Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and perform variance analysis.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
