Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger and monthly/quarterly close processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to management.
- Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA certification or CPA eligibility is highly desirable.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
