Role Overview:

The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients and internal operations. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and local regulations. This is a full-time position offering the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and industries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist with tax preparation and filings for corporate and individual clients, ensuring 100% compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA/CMA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
