Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, including accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with changing tax regulations.
- Conduct thorough internal audits and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and mitigate risk.
- Develop and maintain annual budgets and financial forecasts to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide actionable financial insights and performance reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data clearly.
