Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external auditors during reviews and audits.
- Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- CPA, CMA, or EA certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of US tax laws and GAAP accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
