Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger and oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
