Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Process daily payroll transactions with our proprietary real-time payment system ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including quarterly filings
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and process efficiencies
- Conduct audits of financial records and provide recommendations for operational improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with daily payroll processing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and Arizona state tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and financial forecasting
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
