Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely payments and accurate revenue recognition.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work papers for external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and local financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and software systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
